Wonderful Woodland Show and Tell from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

WOW --- one day closer to leaving. I will say that I accomplished a lot, but not nearly as much as I would like. As always -- I need ONE more day!

I'm happy to report that I now have 18 blocks done for the magazine quilt with 12 to go. I should be able to finish that during the Monday sewing today. If all goes well, the blocks should be done by tonight. It's going to be tight but doable!

And TWO of the remaining four writing assignments were sent off last night, so that leaves two, and most ...

Let ER RIP!! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Do you ever have one of those quilts you can't get right? I have one, and I swear that every time I turn around, there's another mistake in the darn thing. Don't get me wrong -- this is not a pattern issue; this is an operator issue!

We had our last class for Wonderful Woodland yesterday, and I'll share the pictures later this week as I give the others (and myself) time to get caught up. But I swear, the last three blocks have been a nightmare. I made the wolf block at a retreat in May ...

ยป Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I certainly live in a vacuum. The book I'm reading - Looking for Jane?  -- That's a REAL thing, although the book is fiction. This book is even more timely, based on events that are currently unfolding. No wonder there's a waiting list, and I need to finish it in five days, which I will.

So we had a wicked storm pass through on Saturday, and there was NO need for the weather app to know that we would get rain.

I was busy working inside and didn't really know anything was happening. I came out to play ...

Winter Wonderland show and tell from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

OK --- What a whirlwind day! I spent most of it on Zoom. It started off with a lecture on making quilted jackets, and if you get a chance to listen to Heather from Stitch by Stitch (Kingston) present her lecture, you should sign up for it. I booked a private session with some friends, which was well worth the price. It was two hours long, and I took a ton of notes, which I never do, and I was so excited that I wanted to start right then and there.

Alas, I had meetings all afternoon, so I got nothing ...

Wonderful Woodland show and tell from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I had a first yesterday -- I got mad on a Zoom call. I apologize to everyone on the call, but I've had it up to here!

I was doing a demo of new tools for The Hobby Horse. At the beginning of the session, I mentioned the store name and thanked them for hosting the FREE event to the attendees. Every one of my slides has the store logo (very well known in my area) in the corner.

At one point (near the beginning), someone asked the price of a product, and I didn't have that information and ...

Show and tell - Wonderful Woodland from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I'm so glad to know that it's not just me who received those annoying robocalls. And yesterday? Not a single one! Go figure!!

But as some people have acknowledged in the comments -- DO NOT, I repeat - DO NOT answer any call if the caller ID isn't there or you don't recognize the number. It's perfectly OK to let your phone ring. Remember, if you have Android and programmed correctly, you flip the phone face down, and it stops ringing.

Don't be going around saying, I received a call about an illegal package or the ...
